Toyota Highlander Becomes an American Export
The Toyota Highlander, a sporty SUV with a cool personality, has always been built in Japan, headquarters of Toyota, but with the rise in value of the Japanese yen, Toyota and other Japanese automakers have begun to produce vehicles elsewhere. This year, the Toyota Highlander will move its production to the U.S., and Toyota has stated it will invest $400 million to expand its Princeton, Indiana plant.
